Mr. Fahl joined Splash as a Junior Developer in 2017. Before moving to NY, he held a postdoctoral researcher position at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. From 2012 to 2015, he was a postdoctoral associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. Muhammed received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), USA, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Prior to his graduate studies, he received his B.S. degree in Software Development from the University of Tokyo, Japan.

Creating a successful data strategy is much more than buying software. Our experts will share their tips and experiences in community building and discuss the benefits of leveraging the data literacy inside organisations. 

- Pauline (Tableau Software) will share the news in the Data Doctors toolkit front, a free resource available to everyone interested in making knowledge sharing part of the data strategy


- Annabelle will share her experiences as a member of the Tableau community and as a Tableau lead for her peers


- Benedetta (The Information Lab UK) will present how taking part in volunteership opportunities can help people inside the organisation to work together and develop their data skills

Annabelle Rincon

Head of Tableau Center of Excellence, Tableau Social Media Ambassador, TUG Analytics Leader and D+W Zurich

Annabelle Rincon is a Tableau Social Media Ambassador and user group leader. After a career as a Data Analyst in the private and public banking sector, she specialized in visuals analytics, mastering Tableau (both Desktop and Server).

 

In 2019, she was one of the finalists of the Global IronViz contest. Currently she leads the Tableau Center of Enablement at Vontobel (Swiss Bank) and co-leads Data + Women Zurich and the TUG Analytics.

Pauline Le Corvec

Tableau Doctor Senior Program Manager at Tableau

Pauline is a Dublin-based Senior Program Manager at Tableau who leads the Tableau Doctor Program of the Tableau Conference, and co-leads the Data Doctor program at Tableau.

 

She has taken years of experience and lessons learned while running Tableau Doctor at Tableau Conference, and packed them up into the Data Doctor implementation toolkit, bringing the resources for the Tableau Community to create and run their own Data Doctor initiatives. 

Benedetta Tagliaferri

Head Of Consultant Support at the Data School of The Information Lab UK

Benedetta is a Tableau & Alteryx specialist, diversity advocate, and creator of TIL+, an initiative from The Information Lab to help NGOs and nonprofits to make sense of their data.

Tiziana Alocci

Designer, lecturer and co-founder of Market Cafe Magazine

Tiziana is a London-based award-winning information designer and lecturer. With almost a decade of professional experience, she worked across multiple projects of diverse scale and scope, with high-profile clients including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, United Nations, BBC, Visa, British Library, and Facebook.


A graduate at Politecnico of Milan, Tiziana is a frequent speaker at industry events and she collaborates actively with the best studios, agencies, and start-ups worldwide on data-driven projects. As of 2018, she was appointed associate lecturer at the University of the Arts London (ranked 2nd in the world for Art and Design according to the 2021 QS World University Rankings®) in the Design department at the London College of Communication and Ravensbourne University London.


In 2017 Tiziana co-founded Market Cafe Magazine, the world’s first magazine focused on data visualization, holder of the gold award of the renowned Kantar Information Is Beautiful Awards.

 

Sonja Kuijpers

Designer and owner of STUDIO TERP

Sonja Kuijpers runs STUDIO TERP, her one-woman information graphics studio based in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

 

She designs (data-)visualisations for a diversity of clients such as Scientific American, Philips, as well as small institutions, companies, and publishers.


Experimenting with shapes and styles, she also designs her own independent dataviz and data art projects. She received an Information is Beautiful Gold Award in 2019 for her personal project ‘A View on despair’.


Creating data visualisation, to Sonja, is trying to locate herself in the data, making sense of numbers with a human approach, showing insights as well as the aesthetics of information and data.

Data Visualization Specialist - Fraudio

Aline Leonard is Data Visualization Specialist working for Fraudio She became obsessed with data visualisation during her years as PhD student. She has now jumped happily in the data world to help people explore and see their data.

Maaike Siegel

Project & Program Manager at Infotopics

Maaike was hooked on data and Tableau when she discovered she could combine design and insights into one tool. She works as a program manager to organize data academy's and communities within organizations and stimulate all employees to work more data-driven.

Maryse Monen

Tableau & Alteryx Consultant & Trainer -

The Information Lab

Maryse discovered Tableau during her studies and loved it right away. At her university she was the first to graduate using the program. Her data visualisation path continued at The Information Lab where she uses Tableau daily for data driven creativity. She is a Tableau Featured Author and a Tableau Ambassador. She likes to be outdoors and especially on the water.
